Steampunk Cat Lady from We Love Fine
If you imagined Batman set in an alternative steampunk world then Catwoman would look something like this. Sexy as all get up. I really like the amazingly detailed illustration work softened by the watercolor style coloring. It makes it look truly unique which is hard to do with so many tees out there.

Cow Zombies
Cow Zombies by DrDorian
This tee has been around for quite a while now yet it still cracks me up every time I see it. You can just imagine these bovines attacking silos and feed stores.

Darko
Darko from 8 Bit Zombie
I remember having my mind blown by the movie Donnie Darko then running around telling everyone that they had to see it. Obviously lots of other people did the same thing because a movie that bombed at the box office has since become a major cult hit. With so many people loving the movie there is no doubt a lot would want this tee. Unfortunately it is sold out. You can add this one to the denial files.

Cat Burgers
Cat Burgers from Splitreason
For some unknown reason grammatically inept cats have become the unofficial mascots of the internet. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against cats. I like cats and have had a few as pets in the past. What annoys me is the continual breakdown of the English language. Have a look around and you will notice that generally speaking, kids can't spell. That is why I love this tee so much. Everybody's favourite 80's cat eating alien is fighting back. Thank you Alf.

The Sin
The Sin by Enkel Dika
With a name like The Sin it is quite obvious that this is a religious artwork. The question is, if you didn't know the title would you realise it ? When I first saw this I thought it was Snow White. Now there is a war being wages in my mind as the female character switches between the two. I am leaning towards Snow White because the hair makes it seem as if she is falling and her eyes are closed. It seems a brilliant artistic representation of being poisoned by the apple.

Recycled Tshirt Tutorial
Recycled Tshirt Tutorial via Hope Studios
I recently came across this tutorial on the Hope Studios blog. Basically you get 2 tees, cut a pattern into the top one, brush some bleach onto the cut edges then sew the two tees together. Simple. Now this tutorial was written with females in mind to recycle old shirts. Being a manly man it really does not work for me. I wear my tees until they fall apart, then I use them as rags. There is also the problem that all my tees have prints on them. It did get me thinking though. You can buy plain tees really cheap if you look around. Now instead of doing the pretty patterns that they do I am imagining typography. Nothing fancy, just one or two words. I am thinking the word ROCK. Easy enough to do. Choose what you want it to say then print it out from your computer in a big bold font. That then becomes your template. For the rest just follow the tutorial. You will have a one of a kind designer tee in no time.

Novel-T's
Novel-T's
You can now show your support for the all stars of literature. Until now these style shirts have been the sole domain of sporting heroes. Novel-T is changing that with these cool tees. There is a whole range of authors represented, which are split into two teams. The grey shirts are the classic American Canons while the red are the Literary Puncs. While the Canons are consisted solely of 19th Century American writers and characters, the Puncs draw liberally form foreign talent. The best bit of these tees is the fact that $1 from each purchase goes to charity. Either 826nyc (a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting students ages 6 to 18 with their creative and expository writing skills) or Doctors Without Borders (the international medical humanitarian organization assisting people threatened by violence, neglect, or catastrophe).

Silver Smurfer
Silver Smurfer by CoDdesigns
A mashup of pure awesomeness. Cross the Silver Surfer with the Smurfs and you get this cool tee. I really like how the artwork looks like the cover of an old comic book. It is like having a childhood in an alternate universe.

Moon Song
Moon Song by expo01
This tee manages to breathe fresh life into a genre that is old and stale. I love it for that. The moon has been transformed into a record that is either rising or setting, depending how you look at it. The reflection on the ripples of the water is expertly done and a small scattering of stars helps tell the story. This is the perfect shirt to wear when going out to see live music.

Venetian Blind
Venetian Blind by Noto-Fusai
Japanese artist Noto-Fusai has a range of interactive tshirts like this venetian blind one. The string is real so pulling on it raises the bottom of the tee. I can see this being really sexy on the right person, yet just plain dorky on someone like myself. You can see the whole range at notofusai.com

Earth Dragon
Earth Dragon by Colorsmith
It is not very often that you see fantasy artists doing fantastic tees like this. Rob Carlos aka Colorsmith makes full use of modern printing techniques to make his amazing art work on a shirt. Usually you would only see something of this calibre on a glossy poster. I really like the slightly surreal approach of the dragon encircling the Earth. It is almost as if the creature is protective of its home.

Spider Girl
Spider Girl from Darkside
After yesterdays beer and testosterone fuelled madness I thought I had better feature a tee for the female readers. At this point I have to apologise because I just couldn't bring myself to show a pastel, flowery piece of claptrap. Stay with me though because this tee comes in two styles. You can get the usual short sleeved tee or a super cool long sleeve version with stripey arms and side panels.

I Love The Smell Of Bacon In The Morning
I Love The Smell Of Bacon In The Morning by Synaptees
It is time to get all manly in this man cave and pump the internet full of testosterone. There is nothing more manly than Apocalypse Now and bacon. In fact it sounds like the best night in ever. I can feel my chest hair quivering. I better stop before I start grunting like Tim the Tool Man Taylor.

Do Shit That Matters
Do Shit That Matters by Georgia Hill
I don't feature typography tees very often. Generally they tend to be pithy sayings with artwork that is too overdone, sometimes to the point that you struggle to read what they actually say. This shirt however sort of came out of left field and threw for a loop. The saying is crude and in your face, which is a complete contrast to the artwork. I really like the hand drawn look, giving it a vintage roughness that better fits the message. It is also a perfect example of workng with a limited color palette.

Baredevil
Baredevil by CoDdesigns
I always found the idea of a blind superhero a bit ludicrous. Yes the blind have their other senses heightened but there is no way they could swing around from rooftop top rooftop and fight baddies. Heck they would not even know what color clothing they are wearing. This tee takes that idea to the next level, imagining the hero without clothes at all. I am not sure if he has decided that he does not need clothes or if he forgot them but at least he has a mask to protect his identity.

Skulls are for Pussies
Skulls are for Pussies from Harebrained
I love tees that are not what they seem at first glance. I can imagine watching others while wearing this. Watching for that reaction when they realise that the skull is actually made of cute little kitty cats. That would be followed by a look of utter confusion as they try to get their mind around something beyond the realm of normal conventions.

Animal Face Tshirts
Animal Face Tshirts from The Mountain
There is a massive range of these large face tees featuring both wild and domestic animals. You can get dogs, tigers, bunnies, cats, cows, meerkats and a whole lot more. Personally I like the doberman because it reminds me of Snoop Dogg.

Make Your Own Tees
Make Your Own Tees via Punkin Patterns
We all want awesome tshirts but lets face facts, it gets expensive really quickly. While I was aimlessly surfing the net I came across this great way to do your own prints at home. It is quick, easy and best of all, cheap. Head on over to the Punkin Patterns blog and check out how to do it yourself.

Who would of thought you would ever see something that causes hot dog outrage. Lets face it, when you have a really good hot dog you just can't help saying Jesus Christ, that was good. He is the savoriest of all the saviors.

This tee is for great apes like myself living in rough neighbourhoods, or monkeys that want to slum it. Also good for people with a Planet Of The Apes fetish.

Star Wars Psycho
Psycho from Camiseta
Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho has one of the best known movie scenes of all time. Even people who have never seen the movie know the shower scene. It has been parodied ad nauseum so coming up with something fresh is a big ask. To the best of my knowledge this is the first time it has been teamed up with Star Wars. I am glad that it now has because the comic effect is priceless. I want one of these tees so badly.

Film Noir
Film Noir from Uneetee
The stylish grittiness of film noir is perfectly realised on a tee. I am blown away. Murder, money and melodrama in black and white. I really like the placement on the shirt itself, using the curve of the body to give it even extra depth. Thank God for the likes of Tarantino and the Cohens for keeping noir alive and kicking.

Fancy A Lift
Fancy A Lift from We Love Fine
I say old bean, my best friend took a trip to the moon and all I got was this brilliant t shirt. (You know it is brilliant because it has a mustache). I have seen a lot of steampunk designs but the cartoon angle used here is really refreshing. It makes it a lot more accessible to the masses, most of whom have no idea what steampunk is or even that it exists. Win.

Indian
Limited Edition Indian T-Shirt from Antique
I really love this limited edition tee from Antique. It jumped off the screen and really stood out amongst the other offerings. The artwork is so good that you don't realise that only black and white inks have been used. It makes amazing use of the red of the shirt to add splashes of color to the monochromatic artwork. The angle of the head and expression on the face could convey a range of emotions, leaving it up to the viewer to interpret.

This is for my fellow Monty Python fans. If you have seen the movie The Holy Grail you will get it. If you have not seen the movie what the heck is wrong with you? Get your lazy butt down to the video store and hire it out. Sheesh.

Cute but creepy. What a great description of this tee. I really like art like this. It sort of leaves you off balance, not quite understanding. It stays with you and makes you think. What really got to me though was the girls eyes. Hauntingly mean which is quite an accomplishment in a monotone cartoon style illustration.

High Class Cat
High Class Cat by myoubi
I like to imagine this cat as a new villian in the Wind in the Willows story. I can just see him using dastardly plans to lure Mole, Ratty, Toad and the rest close enough to pounce. Of course he would not succeed. It is a childrens story after all.
