Another piece of finely detailed illustration from the master Hydro74, this time as part of the DBH Collective. What I really like about this one is the lions eyes. They look dead, which combined with the silver and gold color scheme on black give this tee a unique look amid the countless other lion tshirts out there.

I love the fact that there are two different versions of this tee. The problem is I just can't decide which one I like best. The dreads on the lion are what sells it for me so it just comes down to preference. Unfortunately my preference seems to swing wildly depending on the mood I am in.

Even though it is a natural born killer, the lion is often thought of as majestic. That look is portrayed perfectly here with the king of the jungle looking off to the side. What really sets this apart from all the other lion tees is the huge print. It is massive. Extending from the shoulder right down to the bottom, it makes maximum use of the space available. With a simple color palette this is just a stunning looking shirt.

I can remember being totally captivated by a series of images when I was a child. Each one was intricately detailed yet revealed a hidden picture when viewed from a distance. This tee managed to transport me straight back there and made me recall the innocence of youth, something I lost a long time ago.
