This guy really puts the beat in heartbeat. Beyond a clever bit of word play it is the artwork that makes this so special. While an anatomically correct heart should be creepy this one has had the cuteness factor turned right up. The giant headphones and sunglasses set the tone while the arms, legs with shoes and gangster pout add a sense of personality.

I love the fact that there are two different versions of this tee. The problem is I just can't decide which one I like best. The dreads on the lion are what sells it for me so it just comes down to preference. Unfortunately my preference seems to swing wildly depending on the mood I am in.

Even though this tee is meant as a joke it took me right back to my childhood in the eighties. After the success of movies like Teenwolf and The Lost Boys, creature movies were all the rage, accompanied by a thumping, dodgy rock soundtrack. All of a sudden B grade creature movies were being played everywhere and they just seemed to get sillier. This is just a perfect homage to that period, even down to the bright purple shirt color.

The whole Planet Of The Apes thing is not new and although the artwork here is really good, it doesn't really add anything original. What is really cool though is the fact that it is available in a variety of different color combinations. There are not many tee companies that offer that as an option which is a shame because tshirts are the ultimate form of self expression.
