Cosmic Expedition

The Cosmic Expedition by Kate Rowland

I love the child like sense of wonder portrayed in this artwork. It actually reminds me of the covers on old science fiction novels. There is a lot going on here, but the limited color palette combined with that simplistic art style really brings it down to a coherent level. A beautiful and eminently wearable tee.

Moonster from Sleep Terror

We all heard stories of the man in the moon as children. Little did we realise how terrifying the reality actually is. The moon is a multi eyed creature looking down on us. Imagine all the things he has seen. I wonder if he is judging us. I like the idea that adding just one extra letter to a word creates a whole new character. Very clever.

This tee manages to breathe fresh life into a genre that is old and stale. I love it for that. The moon has been transformed into a record that is either rising or setting, depending how you look at it. The reflection on the ripples of the water is expertly done and a small scattering of stars helps tell the story. This is the perfect shirt to wear when going out to see live music.
