Vinyl Saucer Attack

Vinyl Saucer Attack from Voodoobeat

I am in love with this tee because it is funny and so clever. The poor forgotten and discarded vinyl records are seeking revenge. Mashing them up with another retro classic, the B movie poster just works so well. It also pokes fun at the myriad of grainy, blurry photos of flying saucers. Musical mayhem.

This tee manages to breathe fresh life into a genre that is old and stale. I love it for that. The moon has been transformed into a record that is either rising or setting, depending how you look at it. The reflection on the ripples of the water is expertly done and a small scattering of stars helps tell the story. This is the perfect shirt to wear when going out to see live music.

"Hey Retro, come over here and meet Surrealism. I think you two will get along great." Growing up with both cassette tapes and records this is one of the coolest things I have seen. Bizarrely it also made me realise just how well tapes fit on tees.
