Oni Geisha by Pale Horse

The first thing that struck me about this tee is the subject matter. It is not every day that you see a geisha on a shirt. As usual Chris Parks, aka Pale Horse, has done a truly fantastic job on the finely detailed artwork. The red used among the monochromatic adds visual punch as well as imparting a sense of danger, especially when combined with the demon mask she is holding.

Collabarations are something becoming more commonplace in the tshirt world. In this case Steadfast Brand has teamed up with Chris Parks, aka Palehorse Designs. He has created this amazing owl artwork for them. It takes a tattoo standard and puts a whole new spin on it. On other tees they have collabarated with the likes of tattoo artists Jime Litwalk, Dave Kruseman and Joe Capobianco, to name a few. Be sure to check them out.

Shot First

Han shot first. If you don't know what this is about by now you must have been living under a rock. This tee really shows how powerful the internet is. The character does not even need a face for you to know exactly what this is about. The net took something one fan noticed and let the whole world know all about it. I think that illustrates just how much power average people have in this day and age. The only question remaining is whether we use it for good or evil.

Baredevil

I always found the idea of a blind superhero a bit ludicrous. Yes the blind have their other senses heightened but there is no way they could swing around from rooftop top rooftop and fight baddies. Heck they would not even know what color clothing they are wearing. This tee takes that idea to the next level, imagining the hero without clothes at all. I am not sure if he has decided that he does not need clothes or if he forgot them but at least he has a mask to protect his identity.

Indian

Limited Edition Indian T-Shirt from Antique

I really love this limited edition tee from Antique. It jumped off the screen and really stood out amongst the other offerings. The artwork is so good that you don't realise that only black and white inks have been used. It makes amazing use of the red of the shirt to add splashes of color to the monochromatic artwork. The angle of the head and expression on the face could convey a range of emotions, leaving it up to the viewer to interpret.
