I was drawn to this tee because of the zombie theme, but it turned into an interesting study in psychology for me. My mind has been so bombarded with standard fairy tale images that I honestly thought Red was holding an apple. It proves the point that you see what you expect to see. When I finally discovered that she was actually holding a heart, it added a whole new dimension to the story. Now I am sitting here wondering what else I have missed that has been in plain sight.

I love minimalist design when it is done well and this is exceptionally good. Each part of the letter R tells part of the Little Red Riding Hood story. The front curve is just perfect as the hood and cape. The two vertical bars are tree trunks in the forest supporting the leaf shape at the top. The wolf himself makes and appearance poking his head out from behind the trees as his tail becomes the lower flourish. Utilising just two colors and few elements the theme is instantly recognizable which is an amazing feat.

I have to apologise as I didn't let you know about this tee quickly enough. I saw it as a tee of the day over at GoodJoe and now, just 7 days later it is no longer available. Guess it has sold out. Hopefully it will be reprinted but for now we can just add it to the denial file.
