On the surface the idea of a samurai playing guitar sounds odd, yet in practice works amazingly well. This is mainly due to the fantastic artwork. The character has real sense of menace and movement. It actually reminds me of 80's hair metal bands with their outrageous costumes. This guy could step onstage with Kiss or Motley Crue and no one would bat an eyelid.

Cliche Alert!!!. Fat Elvis with junk food and drugs sitting on the toilet. Yeah nothing new there. Rather than the subject matter it is the style of the artwork that makes this tee so unique. While all the set props have been rendered realistically the King himself has been done in a chalk effect. I find that really interesting as it is a parody of the chalk outlines drawn around dead bodies by forensic scientists. The hound dog tucked into the corner is just the icing on the cake.

The discovery of a series of previously unknown drawings by Leonardo da Vinci have revealed that the famed artist/inventor/scientist was even more ahead of his time than anyone realized.


"We knew that da Vinci conceived ideas vastly ahead of his own time, including helicopters, tanks, calculators, solar power, and even the theory of plate tectonics," said da Vinci biographer Irwin Nicholl. "But who knew that list also included cellular phones, hair-metal rock ballads and the Rotisserie Barbeque Platinum 5000 series?"
